“Many have expressed their concern that the cartoons we published here will be used out of context by real anti-semites to spread further hate against us.
To this I say:Anti semites will always find excuses for hatred, with or without our help. We’ve been accused of everything from 9/11 to hurricane Katrina, the killing of Jesus and the original sin.
In my opinion, the only solution for racism is good education - education for thought and for doubt - so that people think twice before they accept everything they watch on TV or read in the newspaper or hear from their leaders or rabbis as truth from heaven.
Just think twice!” - http://www.boomka.org/
History writes that people hated the Jews because the Jews killed Jesus (and a bunch of other pretexts). Later, the issue was settled simply as religious “misinterpretation.”
It’s not that simple. How in the earth those kinds of religious interpretation get popular in the first place?
I mean, let’s see… Jesus is a Jew. All 12 apostles were Jewish. There is nothing in the bible, which is made in Israel by the way, that says, “hate Jews”. So, it’s kind of far fetch isn’t it? The reason why Jesus died is the same reason why Copernicus died, namely being correct when everyone else is wrong. Yet why the same Europeans wouldn’t hate the Pope?
If Christianity is the factor, then we wouldn’t expect anti Semitism in non-Christian countries. In communist Rusia, Lenin (or Stalin) wrote a document that says Jewish doctors conspired to kill Lenin. Later, Russian government admitted that the document was a fraud, after Lenin’s death.
Then, ups, misunderstanding. All right, we’ve been tricked. We know Lenin, Hitler, Mao Tze Tung, or (name your dictators here) are evil. Still, that doesn’t explain why these dictators crafted the fraud in the first place. What motivated those dictators to put more successful people in bad light?
It’s not that dictators are crazy, it’s the people they govern who are. What do you expect from people believing and enforcing irrational faith based on belief anyway. Dictators craft fraud because the dictators know they’ll gain popularity for making up the fraud. Why, because the population embraces envy.
Perhaps there is something about the Jews. However, if that’s the case, then we wouldn’t expect any correlation between non-retaliatory hatred and success. We wouldn’t’ expect hatred toward capitalists, hatred towards the Chinese in Indonesia, or Indian in Africa. We wouldn’t expect that victims of bullying tend to have much higher IQ than their perpetrators. It turns out, we do.
“The events in Europe during these decades were, thus, not an exemplification of the theory of eugenics, a supposed liberal and humanitarian vision turned to dross. Rather it was, as noted above, a premeditated program of dysgenics, an aristocide, as with too many other genocides of the twentieth century. How else can we understand the ideology of hate during this century that brought about the destruction of so many talented human beings, members of civilizationally achieving ethnic and social class groups? Thus we have here witnessed, from Armenia to Biafra and Cambodia, the dysgenic destruction of tens of millions of the most intelligent, productive humans on our planet.” - http://WhatWeMayBe.org/
If you ask anthropologists, they’re going to say that people are envious toward the Jews. So they cherish any argument, perjury, and prejudices that put Jews in bad light. Political leaders and religious interpreters then become popular for entertaining and crafting that belief. Also, uniting against a weak enemy is a good way to form alliance. Once the first stone is thrown, all the stones would fly.
That would explain it, other hatred against those more productive. In Indonesia, for example, the Chinese are accused of being the source of corruption. The source of corruption is governments’ intervention in economy, supported mainly by non-Chinese.
The Chinese are accused for not being nationalists. However, we know that a country’s well being comes from proper alignment between individual’s interests and some common goals rather than lack of any stupid irrational feeling, like nationalism. Also, how do you avoid accusations of being unnationalistic anyway?
In Africa, the Indians are kicked out by Idi Amin. I bet, Idi is not going to be honest saying that he did that to gain popularity. I bet he’s going to come up with some pretext whatsoever.
Envy bigots are not going to say that they are envious. They’ll come with a pretext to put the one more successful in bad light.
Then, there is a question. Why envy? Why do people develop envy? Evolution theories teach that most of our main preferences are preferences that get us in the gene pool. So males tend to aim for as many females as possible, even on the thousands if they can. History has shown this. I mean, you know many males who are not?
Such males are the sort of males that survive in the gene pool. Women tend to aim for quality, usually measured by richness, smartness, and political power. A typical woman will aim for at most 4-5 males, even one, if that one is Brad Pitt. That’s because women don’t make more kids simply because they get more males. So they want the best genes. Got it so far? Nothing strange here.
Because there is the same number of males and females, (actually, the number is inversely proportional with resource allocation a particular sex will consume to reach adulthood), when one male gets plenty, the others will be out-competed from the gene pool.
So those who are uncompetitive will then come up with some far fetch beliefs that lessen the competition. That’s why we have sex laws, and religions. There is not enough scientific evidence supporting all those beliefs. People simply cherish beliefs that benefit their interests. For the uncompetitive, that means for an envy motivated lies an attributing success, like making a lot of money, or mating with many females, with sin, like greed, or lust.
That’s also why different people have different ideas of what’s right and what’s wrong. They simply have different interests or wish to ally with different groups.
It’s not my idea. It’s already mainstream in scientific community. Those who learn enough evolution theory knows this. However, this scientific truth faces resistance from religions.
